Beware of the "experts"!

There are many companies that are soliciting to do the ADA upgrades, claiming that they are "Certified" or otherwise ADA compliance experts. In fact the only recognized certified compliance experts are those individuals that have been through the qualification and testing procedures administered by the California Division of State Architects Office under the CASp program.

There are only a few hundred persons that have met the qualifications and successfully completed the CASp program in California and are authorized to issue, upon determination of compliance, official California Certificates of Compliance. Our inspectors are CASp certified by the State of California.

If you employ a noncertified company to make any upgrades to your facility and there is no CASp certification offered, you will have to just take their word for it that all of the upgrades that they performed are ADA correct. Is that really enough? There are many cases where the improvements made by an uncertified person have been done incorrectly, leaving the facility owner wide open to the possibility of a lawsuit.

GET IT DONE RIGHT. MAKE SURE THE WORK IS CORRECT BY GETTING IT CERTIFIED.
